It took 5 years of switching between university degrees for me to find my way here. Forever torn between a passion for animal welfare and my creative aspirations, I could never land on a decisive career trajectory. I’ve always loved making things, imagining characters and translating ideas into pictures, but I certainly never fathomed that professional illustration is something I would get to actually do full-time.

But then, through Instagram, I was offered the opportunity to illustrate my debut picture book, “Lily the Inventor” written by Claire Thompson.

Since then, I have been lucky enough to sign contracts with several clients, both Australian and international, including New Frontier Publishing, Affirm Press and The Good & The Beautiful.

I have such fond memories of my childhood books and the beautiful pictures which brought them to life. I feel very lucky I now get to create these stories for littles and their grown-ups to enjoy.  I love the challenge of designing characters and their worlds, and finding the right colours and style to suit each story I illustrate.

Outside of work, my heart belongs to ocean swims, chai tea, roadtrips, baking, my best-friend (aka. my cat) Quincy, anything with cinnamon in it, Taylor Swift, and travelling.
